ABOUT ME

A woman with dark hair and red lipstick, sitting on a chair against a plain white background, wearing a colorful patterned blazer over a black turtleneck, with her chin resting on her hand and looking at the camera.

Since October of 2022, Katherine has been writing novels. (She oscillates between descriptive language like “literary” and “slutty”. So do the books.) Her debut novel, QUEERING HIM, is the first installment of the Avra and Kieran Trilogy.

Katherine has organized international psychology conferences, spoken at presidential campaign events, published numerous op-eds in outlets like Vox and Hey Alma, and written so much angsty poetry.

Katherine (Katie to her friends and loved ones) grew up as a Queer Jewess in rural New England, which shaped her understanding of “otherness,” isolation, yearning, and community.
